John graduated with honors from Montana State University in the spring of 2007. While attending classes, John worked as a programmer for Integrated Engineering Software developing finite element software for structural analysis and design.

A Helena native, John quickly realized that all the good skate parks are west of the divide and promptly decided to move to Missoula. His passion for engineering is surpassed only by his passion for landing the gnar switch flip back noseblunt.
